Subwoofers
By adding impact and feel to the overall music and movie experience powered subwoofers are often make the difference between a good, and a great system.
A good woofer is not thumpy or boomy, and does not sound like the car that’s shaking next to you at the stop light. Subs done right: reproduce low frequencies accurately and deliver tight impactful bass throughout the lower frequencies, creating impact and making the whole listening and viewing experience better.
Powered subs can connect to your receiver or amplifier either wirelessly, or via a subwoofer cable (first choice), using a wall outlet for dedicated power. A single powered sub can be an excellent choice and in many applications I love adding a second sub, eliminating any null and smoothing out the overall bass throughout the room.
